Some more Swan Lake photos

Seems to be my favourite place as of late.

Swan Lake

I like taking photos of nature and I figured a good group to hang out with would be local bird watching groups. I've only met up with one particular group that meets on Wed/Sundays @ 9am at Swan lake. Mom/Dad, maybe if we are quick one day, we can go there.

Found some snow out at Goldstream park on my way up to meet William for lunch in Duncan.

[2011-01-04] esquimalt lagoon

On one of my days off, I went to Esquimalt lagoon (through Colwood Mom and Dad).
I found out when I got there, there was a rare gull in the area. It is called a Iceland gull and I snapped a few photos.

What else was interesting is that the lagoon was frozen over, not bad considering it is part of the ocean.
