Thursday - Zoo Day

The WHOLE gang met up on Thursday for a trip to the Calgary Zoo.

By whole gang I mean, William, Heather, Samara & Rachel, my Mom & Dad, Heather's Mom & Dad (Ron and Eleanor), cousin Jeanine, Mike and baby Casey, Restita, Mari, Alisha and myself !!!

And on the most part, we all stuck together.

Science Center

Wednesday was Science center day....William and the gang met with us there and everyone had lots of fun.

I think the girls favourite exhibit there was the Robert Munsch exhibit.

Tuesday = relaxing day

William decided to go up to Drumheller on Tuesday for the day, we are planning on going on Monday, so it was kind of a relaxing day for us. We got frustrated trying to find "Shakers" which is a big play center for the kids. The GPS and Google maps couldn't help us find this mysterious place. We ended up giving up and going to see "Night at the Museum : Battle of the Smithsonian". I actually ended up liking the movie, despite getting convince to go there.

After that, we went the the Apple store to see if they could replace my iPhone. I got the run around and they took it in the back to pretend to fix it. (they found a service bulletin that suggested some of the screen connectors could be reset). The Apple 'genius' was also trying to get me to go back to Rogers for a replacement phone.....even after I told him that an Apple rep told me to come to the store....arghhh

Calaway Park

What a busy week it has been since we left Banff. Banff is only about an hour drive from Calgary, so we decided to meet my brother at Calaway Park. We ended up spending the WHOLE day there and then headed to Cindy & Dave's place.
